2022 AusPost Impressions Crux: The Southern Cross Limited-Edition Double Coin Prestige PNC

Crux is a constellation of the southern sky, crux being the Latin word for “cross”. Commonly known as the Southern Cross, the constellation is centred on four bright stars forming the shape of a cross, together with a fifth, faint star usually included in Crux.

This unique postal numismatic cover brings together two coins from the collection issued in 2022, the Great Aussie Coin Hunt 3. The “X” coin is for Crux. A standard version of the “X” coin was made available with the other 25 alphabet coins, however there was a different coloured version of the “X” coin produced in limited numbers. This coin is offered here in this prestige Postal Numismatic Cover along with the standard “X” coin from the series.
